A privileged view of a unique event is what’s offered by “Ettore P. Olivero: Panoramica d’Artista”, an exhibition of 14 paintings on public view for the first time, that illustrate the construction of the Panoramica Zegna roada large-scale civil works project spanning the 1930s to 1950s, by the textiles entrepreneur Ermenegildo Zegna to develop the local territory and the wellbeing of its people. At Casa Zegna in Trivero (Biella ) from 12 May to 30 June 2013, you can admire the refined landscape paintings of Ettore P. Olivero, whose teachings were a vital influence on the artistic development of his son Michelangelo Pistoletto. Their delicate lyricism expresses his love of the land, which formed an indissoluble link between his art and the forward-looking vision of the Biella entrepreneur.
