The Ermenegildo Zegna founder’s scholarship program was launched by the Zegna Group in 2014 with a 25-year commitment to commemorate and perpetuate the values of founder Ermenegildo Zegna. Since 2021, it has been one of the principal educational projects of Fondazione Zegna.
Every year, Ermenegildo Zegna founder’s scholarships are awarded, on a rigorously meritocratic basis, to exceptionally promising graduates pre-selected by italian partner universities from all fields of study. the scholarships enable recipients to pursue postgraduate studies and research at world-renowned universities and research centers outside italy. awardees undertake to return to italy after completion of their stay abroad, in order to be able to contribute to the country’s future development. the program receives annual funding of up to €1 million. special attention is paid to candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds.
